Indonesian ports and terminals – TPS Terminal

The Indonesian government has been pushing the port and terminal expansion over the past years a lot. There has been a lot new development with examples like the first automated terminals in Indonesia like Terminal Teluk Lamong.

A player already long in the market is the TPS terminal (Terminal Petikemas Surabaya) in Surabaya which is a joint venture of 51% PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Regional Port Authority) and 49% DP World. The terminal is an important Player in the Indonesian maritime industry.

Since the year 2000 TPS is running the RBS terminal operating System (TOS) TOPS. It is already a long and fruitful partnership with TPS.
