Boris Wenzel introduces Big Data Experience in the terminal industry
During the CTAC Port Technology London conference, Managing Director of Terminal Link and TIC 4.0 initiator and President Boris Wenzel introduces Big Data experience in the terminal industry in a real case.
In his presentation Boris Wenzel speaks about Big Data and in which big way it will impact the Port Industry. He also introduces a large-scale pilot that was done under the iTerminals 4.0 EU funded program using the Prodevelop digital platform (Posidonia) connecting all the equipment and systems through TIC 4.0 standards. The new platform has, directly and indirectly, enabled the terminal staff to do their job more efficiently by substantially improving performance and efficiency.
