RBS TOPS Expert

The new RBS terminal operating System for container terminal automation: Based on the positive consolidated feedback from the clients, own experience and new ideas, RBS has developed the latest version of the ‘TOPS Expert’ TOS application. The new system name will be TOPS Expert, focusing on an even more solid system architecture. RBS is now offering a true real-time TOS, with new functionalities such as automatic search and very quick navigation of the vessel planning System.

RBS TOPX Expert

Based on the Consolidated Feedback from Clients and terminals, own experience and new ideas, RBS has developde the latest Version of the TOPS Expert TOS application. The new TOPX Expert, built on a solid System Architecture, offers a true realt-time TOS, with new functionalities and smart features that will be neccessary to move to the next level for manual and automated terminals.

RBS TOPS Expert Cloud

The TOPS Expert Cloud package is the most advanced package available to the container handling Industry today. If you are a small to medium size terminal the TOPS Cloud solution will bring a full state-of-the-art TOS to your terminal environment.

RBS TOPS Advance

TOPS offers a full suite of terminal management capabilities, including operations optimization; yard management; vessel management; berth management; crane allocation; container handling equipment management; gates management; reporting and interfaces to financial systems, Gate Operating Systems, REFCON reefer monitoring system, radio data terminals and GPS systems. Furthermore, the TOPS package includes a management information dashboard and a monitoring tool, together with the fully integrated TOPS KPI functionality. TOPS is also offering two additional modules: TOPS SimOne and TOPX Strategy, taking terminal operation to the next level.

RBS TOPS KPI

TOPS KPI is a remote management and data analysis/mining tool that allows the terminal management to analyse the current performance of their terminal at any time and also view its performance in the past. The terminals performance can be monitored from any location and any browser with access to the terminals network via the internet or intranet. The dashboard figures are updated directly from the operational system.

RBS TOPO Advance

Within TOPS Advanced the TOPO package is the terminal foundation system. TOPO is based on a .NET architecture connecting a smart client to an SQL based database. Usually terminals use Oracle databases for implementations. Based on the local setup a terminal can run multiple instances or sites on one TOPO database.

RBS TOPX SimOne

TOPX SimOne is a revolutionary solution for future terminal operation. It’s an intermediate step to TOPX intelligence. TOPX SimOne comprises the followings features:

• Ability to simulate the actual operation (after all plannings are done) in a user-defined time frame (limited to the hardware performance
• Allows monitor/start/stop/assign/de-assign a CHE or all CHEs during simulation
• Highlight issues such as bottle necks, congestions and make suggestions
• Allows planning adjustments during simulations
• Operational control and exception handling . Allows re-play after adjustments
